Cub Scouts is a great option for today’s youth because it focuses on values, character development, physical activity, skills development, and most importantly, having fun!
The best way to find out what you do best is to do it. Swing a bat. Pitch a tent. Build a Pinewood Derby car. Cub Scouts are at the magical age where everything is new and possible and, most importantly, fun.

Pack 205 is a family Scouting pack that welcomes boys and girls from kindergarten through 5th grade. Chartered in 2016, we are based out of Olive Chapel Baptist Church in Apex, North Carolina.
Cub Scouting encourages Scouts to achieve a deeper appreciation of others, including peers, parents, and other adults. Early in their Scouting experience, Cubs learn the value of serving others.
We are based in Apex, North Carolina and host weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 6:30 at Olive Chapel Baptist Church located at 600 New Hill Olive Chapel Rd, Apex, NC 27502.

Your Cub is a member of the Den- a collective comprised of four to eight Scouts (sometimes more), all with the same grade level. The Den Leader (usually a parent) leads fun-filled activities such as games, crafts, songs and advancement opportunities. Furthermore, your Cub's membership in the Pack guarantees at least one gathering every month; here they will join other Dens for an evening full of learning experiences!
The Cubmaster leads Pack meetings, with Scouts and their families in attendance. The Pack meeting is made up of fun activities, as well as the presentation of awards that have been earned during the month. Pack 205 camps about 4 times a year and offers lost of additional activities including Pinewood Derby, outings, hikes, and more!
As with all Cub Scout Packs, ours is composed of individual dens based on Rank. Rank is based on school grade level. We currently have six dens with about 50 Cub Scouts in our Pack! If you are interested in joining Pack 205 or Cub Scouts in general just fill out the form below!
We meet weekly during the traditional school year. We invite you and your child to come out to a den meeting for their potential den and see how you and your child likes the experience!
